Sahara 100km Trek

Join us for our 2020 Sahara Challenge; it’s liberating!

There are no roads, no people, no sounds. Just you and raw nature. Sleep under the stars and watch the mesmerising night sky unfold with no ambient light to spoil your view of the orbiting satellites.

This trek allows you to fully experience this superb region to the full under the watchful guidance of experienced Guides as you disappear from civilisation for 5 days.

You will be totally immersed in the desert way of life, without a worry in the world! Your aim is to reach the summit of Erg Zaher; a huge 1900’ dune towering majestically over all others within the Chigaga region to watch the sunset. This is a trek like no other; the sunsets, the sand, the camaraderie, the food, the memories, all of them superb.

Great Wall of China

Our China Charity Trek snatches the best of the Wall. To get the best out of the Wall, you have to live it, be close to it and even in our case, live on it! On our final trek night, when everyone else has gone, we trek back up to the Watchtower and camp overnight there to experience the silence and see the sunrise (camping equipment supplied).

The Wall can be demanding at times so we staying close, staying in local farmhouses or guesthouses. Learn to make Chinese dumplings with a local family and your picnic lunches are hand made to ensure you get to eat what you want to eat! In the end, we get you back to Beijing early afternoon to allow you some free time before a complimentary celebration traditional Beijing Roast Duck that evening. There are a total of 2 nights in hotels in Beijing.

No visit to the capital would be complete without seeing the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, both of which are included on our Tour. After the morning tour, you have more free time to explore the city before your flight home in the morning.
