Suzanne Scatliffe is Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at AXA XL, where she oversees the strategy and reporting of CSR and sustainability activities for AXA XL globally.
She has 15 years’ experience in CSR roles in the insurance, technology, and education sectors, and is a certified Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS).

Jamil Bahou

Jamil Bahou is Chairman and Chief Executive of Connect UW. He oversees a diversified portfolio of global (re)insurance and other businesses.

STUART BARTRAM
Founder and Managing Director
Brandex Insight
Following a 20-year career at Aviva, Stuart launched Brandex Insight in 2011. A digital communications consultancy and part of the Brandex Group, Brandex Insight helps organisations of all shapes and sizes make sense of the online space.
Stuart has many clients in the insurance sector including Tokio Marine Kiln, the Managing General Agents’ Association, Atrium Underwriting, Insurance Law Global, The Russell Group and Axco.
Stuart led the development of Aviva’s online corporate estate for 11 of his 20 years at the company.
Stuart spent nine years as an independent governor at Norwich University of the Arts, chairing the Finance and Resources Committee for three years.

Bruce Basso
Chief Executive Officer
World Broker Network and Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Founder
Bruce has over 40 years of insurance industry services experience that combines extensive business and operational expertise with demonstrated leadership and Board level responsibility in both the national and international insurance communities.
He co-founded and built ABD Insurance and Financial Services (ABD), a $186M insurance brokerage, into one of the top 14 insurance brokers in the United States, then acquired by Greater Bay Bancorp in 2002, and later by Wells Fargo as part of its acquisition of Greater Bay Bancorp.
In 1995, Bruce established the US arm of WBN and subsequently served as CEO, Member of the Global Executive Committee, and Member of the Global Board of Directors.

PEDRO MAIROS
Head of Marine UK and Ireland
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI)
Pedro joined the IICF team in December 2020. He currently serves as Head of Marine UK and Ireland at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) and is a member of the European Leadership team. He joined BHSI in February 2019 to launch the marine insurance offer. Pedro has two decades of experience working in marine insurance around the globe. He was UK Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Marine Cargo Underwriting, UK Branch, at AXA Corporate Solutions. He also held various marine insurance roles at AXA Corporate Solutions in Paris, Hong Kong and Dubai.
Pedro holds a Honors Degree from Paris North University.

Riva Dumeny
Chief Operating Officer, Group Benefits Divisions
AmWINS Group
Riva Dumeny serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Benefits Division – one of five divisions of AmWINS Group. Responsible for developing business and operational strategies, Riva is charged with facilitating these efforts across the Group Benefits organization. Her proven track record and focus on innovation and process improvement efforts help provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper products, operational controls, people, and technology in place to grow effectively. For the past few years, Riva has leant her expertise to AmWINS as a whole as Executive Vice President, Operations and Strategy, supporting the operations of the organization and managing strategic initiatives including the development of centralized services that handle E&S placement for large P&C retail clients.
Riva has more than fourteen years in the industry. Prior to joining AmWINS, she worked for Connextions, which was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in August of 2011. She held a variety of roles under UHG’s service umbrella of Optum, including vice president and service division leader, where she was responsible for various client relationships, primarily focused on Healthcare Benefits organizations, with $98M P&L and corresponding strategic account plans. Riva holds a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.

Kieran Jones

Kieran is Director of Client Relationships at national law firm Weightmans, focused on delivering exceptional results and a proactive approach to client care.
He is a highly skilled litigator with 25 years’ experience acting for insurers, public authorities and international commercial organisations on high profile and high-value cases.
Kieran is also a Director of Insurance Law Global (ILG), a multi-jurisdictional network of insurance defence law firms.
Why do you support IICF?
I am delighted to support IICF which enables me to “give something back” by its work with and support for charities focused on education and social mobility. Whilst it is an “insurance” charity, unlike others importantly its mission is to those outside the industry.

Dave Matcham
Chief Executive,

Dave started his career in insurance in 1980 with the Institute of London Underwriters (ILU) in its aviation department. He was promoted to a directorial position within the ILU in 1993 and became Director of Operations following the Institute’s merger with LIRMA to become the IUA in 1998.
A fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Member of the Board of London Market Faculty, he took over as Chief Executive of the IUA in March 2005.
Why do you support IICF?
The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation is an extremely effective way for our industry to help individuals and communities. By co-ordinating our efforts we can have more impact for a greater benefit.

Brendan McManus

Brendan McManus joined PIB Group as CEO and investor in July 2015 having previously sold Giles Insurance Brokers to Arthur J Gallagher in November 2013, becoming CEO of their UK Retail business on completion.
Prior to that, Brendan had been CEO of Willis ltd and CEO Willis UK and Ireland from 2007. Brendan was the Honorary Vice President of the CII, he was also previously Deputy Chairman of BIBA, and past Chair of the Distribution Committee of the ABI.

Dawn Miller

Most recently, Dawn oversaw Chubb’s Middle Market, Small Commercial & Industry Practice Businesses as well as Sales & Distribution in Continental Europe. Prior to this, she served as the President and CEO at AXA Insurance Company US, the AXA Group’s property and casualty commercial insurance subsidiary.
Prior to joining AXA Dawn spent 13 years at American International Group (AIG), ultimately serving as Head of Client Engagement for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Before her time at AIG, with a desire to experience the dynamic intersection of public/ private partnerships first hand, she spent several years in Prague, leading an investment advisory firm focused on the Central European energy sector privatisations of the time.

Chris Moseley
Managing Director, Insurer Solutions
Applied Systems
Chris is responsible for all insurer and strategic relationships for Applied’s UK business. He came to Applied Systems in August 2013 following the acquisition of Insurecom Limited.
Chris has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years.

Caroline Rankin

Caroline joined CNA Hardy in 2014 as the Head of Internal Audit for the organisation, having previously held leadership internal audit positions at AXA UK and across financial service institutions. Caroline has a long standing passion for the positive impact that we can have working with our local communities, and takes an active lead on a number of CSR initiatives at CNA Hardy.

William (Bill) Ross

In September 2004, Bill joined the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation as Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall operation and strategic direction of the Foundation.
Bill joined the Foundation after a 31-year career with the Walt Disney Company, having worked in the Parks and Resorts division with assignments in Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Resort in Paris. He was a member of the executive team that managed the $2 billion expansion of the Disneyland Resort in Southern California.

Jolle Wever
Managing Director

Jolle Wever has more than 16 years of experience and knowledge of life and non-life insurance, investment banking and corporate finance. He worked extensively in the investment banking sector including eight years at UBS in London where he specialised in the financial services industry. He has been Managing Director of Axco since 2018.
Why do you support IICF?
The IICF’s central role in uniting all members of the insurance industry and creating a strengthened philanthropic voice. Seeing the difference it makes first hand through volunteering opportunities has been wonderful.
