Volunteer with IICF is designed to create a new way for employees located anywhere in the country to give back and
for companies to encourage teamwork and foster a sense of purpose while helping local communities prosper.
Participation is simple! – To give you focus while allowing for flexibility, we will announce a theme at the start
of each quarter. You then decide you you’d like to volunteer. The choice is yours!

VOLUNTEER WITH our 2024 Grant Recipient CHARITIES

IICF is proud to support nine charities this year. A selection of volunteering opportunities are outlined below and new opportunities will be announced throughout this year.

1. Become a Reading Volunteer with Bookmark
* Change a child’s life story as a volunteer with Bookmark Reading Charity. The six-week reading programme involves two 30-minute sessions each week – virtually or at a local school – with a child who needs extra support with their reading.

2. Create Better Futures for Young People with ReachOut
* Mentor a secondary school or university student or hold workshops in your office to broaden young people’s horizons. ReachOut has programmes in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire for you to choose from.

3. Help Young People Facing Homelessness
* EveryYouth helps young people access mental health support, enter employment, and secure a home of their own and offers group volunteering projects including DIY and decorating to help them get settled into their new home. Contact IICF or register your interest here.

PLEASE NOTE: The IICF has not identified specific needs. Please contact your chosen charity to learn about current needs and how you can help as a volunteer.
