IICF’s annual Gala Dinner takes place on 18 October at Draper’s Hall, truly one of the prettiest venues in the City. As a guest, you will enjoy a sparkling wine reception followed by a gourmet meal in the great Livery Hall, an auction led by TV presenter Jonty Hearnden and remarks by speakers representing the industry and IICF’s charity partner Spartans CFA.
Celebrate the industry’s collective community impact with over 150 industry leaders while raising valuable funds for charities advancing social mobility and helping people facing disadvantage to succeed in school, employment and life. The IICF UK is proud to share volunteer opportunities with our grant recipients. This month,, we are featuring Women’s Inclusive Team (WIT) who support ethnic minority communities in Tower Hamlets through youth programmes, women’s empowerment projects, mental health support and a food bank and community kitchen.
Looking for new volunteering ideas? WIT is looking for volunteers for a variety of projects:
Share IT/Digital skills virtually | Participate in 1-2-1 or group Mentoring online | Join 1-2-1 or group Employability skills training online: Help write CVs and cover letters and prepare participants for interviews | Share stories and experiences in a Returning to work for mothers group session online.

IICF UK awards grants to 25 charities advancing education and social mobility and has helped change the lives of more than 5,500 vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the country. Our grants have also allowed charities supported by IICF to secure additional funding, to expand services in new parts of the UK and to enter into new corporate partnerships in insurance.
IICF 2022 grant helps Vision Foundation run youth conference

In March 2022 Vision Foundation and LOOK (with support from the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation) teamed up to host an employment conference for visually impaired 16-25-year-olds.
