Join THE IICF in raising £50,000 to help LOW-INCOME families & CHILDREN IMPACTED BY THE COST-OF-LIVING CRISIS

Following the tremendous support IICF received from our industry-wide campaigns, allowing us to raise over £125,000 and help over 3,250 people during the pandemic, we recognise that families continue to face extraordinary challenges as they navigate the cost of living crisis.

While the cost of living crisis is impacting everyone, it’s hitting low-income households and families with children the hardest. With soaring energy costs and the highest inflation rates in over 40 years, many families are having to choose between heating their homes and paying for food.1 It’s estimated that 25% of workers in poorer households have failed to pay a priority bill in the last year (ICAEW) and in a recent survey by Together Through This Crisis, 6% of people [said] they could not pay for essentials most days, rising to 11% in the most deprived areas.2 The insurance industry plays a pivotal role in helping people and communities facing hard times. IICF invites you to come together as an industry and do the same for children and families facing fuel and food poverty in these unprecedented times.

How can you help?

To help low-income families and children impacted by the cost of living crisis:

  • Make a personal or corporate donation to IICF at https://givi.ng/9675
  • Hold a fundraising event or campaign at your office. You can set up a fundraising page within IICF’s Total Giving account, and click Fundraise For This Appeal at the bottom of the page.
  • Promote IICF’s campaign and invite people in your network to donate

Your donation can be as little as £5 and will directly benefit families in areas of social deprivation; for instance, by helping people feed their families, access housing services and continue learning at school.  On behalf of the communities we serve, IICF thanks you for your support.

WHO WILL YOU HELP?

Funds raised from this campaign will be granted to charities nominated by the industry and will benefit low-income families and children impacted by the cost-of-living crisis. Learn how we helped local charities with funds from our first campaigns.
