Revitalising Communities Fund

The IICF believes the insurance industry can be a united force for good. Through our focus on social mobility, we’re working to create better futures for young people facing disadvantage – but we can only do this with your support.

The UK has one of the poorest rates of social mobility among developed countries. 1 This unequal access to opportunities for young people is compounded by the cost-of-living crisis, and concerns about climate and world events is impacting young people’s view of their future.

Despite agreement that having a job or career is important, young people’s feelings about their futures varies greatly by their socio-economic situation. One in four young people from the lowest-income households feel that people like them don’t have much of a chance in life. 2

Yet organisations recognise that young people are ‘key agents for social change and economic growth’ and with 1.19m job vacancies, the opportunity for young people has never been greater. 3

IICF invites you to help create better futures for marginalised and disadvantaged young people by raising funds for projects that empower them to have a voice in their school or community – thereby improving their mental health, building character and confidence, and unlocking their potential.
