Stories of Impact

IICF UK is proud to share stories of impact featuring our grant recipient EveryYouth, which supports 16-25 year olds facing homelessness. Did you know that 97% of young people living in homeless services have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences compared to 47% of the general population.

In 2024, EveryYouth received a £10,000 grant from the IICF which has allowed them to maintain their ongoing Employability, Education and Training (EET) programme for young people in Norfolk and Aberdeen. The program provides young people with dedicated resources such as Employability Coaches who provide practical 1-2-1 support to young people on their journey to EET, whilst establishing relationships with local training providers, colleges and employers to improve the access to viable opportunities in their area. In Q1 2024, 61% of young people participating on the programme reported improved employability skills, 56% felt more independent and 83% are feeling more confident about their futures.

“I am thankful to particular members of staff for helping me through such difficult times. People were available to me all the time to help and support me, which is what I needed to turn things around”.– Scarlett, EveryYouth EET Programme Participant

IICF recognises that the UK has one of the poorest rates of social mobility in the developed world. We’re working to change this by uniting the industry in volunteering, leadership and grants to social mobility charities. In the UK, we’ve raised nearly £2M to change the lives of more than 7,500 people in the communities in which we live and work.

Each time you donate to IICF – directly, or as sponsor or participant at one of our events – you’re helping to change lives and we thank you for your support.
